Sidi Krir 3&4 Power Station is the first BOOT project in Egypt. The plant is located on the Mediterranean Sea Coast, approximately 29 KM West of Alexandria City next to the Sidi Krir 1&2 plant PGESCo is the overall engineering and Procurement execution office for the overall project. The station consists of the following major components:

• Two 340 MW each, indoor condensing steam turbine generator units.
• Two outdoor, dual fuel fired (natural gas and heavy oil), pressurized furnace systems generators.
• All necessary auxiliary and balance of plant equipment.

 

The Power Block Island for the two generating units includes steam generator structures of outdoor type construction and a fully enclosed turbine generator structure. A single stack is designed to serve the two units and is located North of the

Power Block Island.
