In 1996, PGESCo assisted Bechtel in the engineering of the Aleppo Power Plant Project in a Syria by seconding PGESCo engineering personnel to Bechtel at the project site and at Bechtel Power headquarters. Aleppo is five-unit steam power plant each rated at 200 MW. The plant is located 8 Km East of Aleppo. Bechtel / PGESCo provides engineering and procurement services for the project balance of plant (BOP).

In 1997, PGESCo teamed with Bechtel in the conceptual and detailed design of Al-Taweelah (B) Power Plant Project in United Arab Emirates. Al-Taweelah B is a 320 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant consisting of two combustion turbine generator, two heat recovery steam generators, and one steam turbine generator. Bechtel / PGESCo is responsible for providing engineering, procurement, and construction management services (EPCM).

In 1998, PGESCo supported Bechtel in the engineering of the Ghazlan Power Plant Project in Saudi Arabia. Ghazlan is a four unit Steam Power Plant with unit size of 600 MW, totaling 2400 MW. The Plant is located on the Arabian Gulf Coast 20 KM North West of Ras Tanura. Bechtel is Responsible for providing engineering, procurement, and construction management services (EPCM).

In 2003, the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) has established in association with Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) a Joint Stock Company, Arab Consulting and Engineering Services Company (ACESCo). ACESCo has entered into a technical service agreement with PGESCo in 2004 under which PGESCo is providing specific consulting services for the following projects:

Ben Ghazi North 2x150 MW Combined Cycle Project.

Tripoli West 2x325 MW Steam Plant.

Zawia 2x150 MW Combined Cycle Project.
